Suffering from Ataxiophobia?

What is Ataxiophobia?

Ataxiophobia- Fear of ataxia. (muscular incoordination)

All behavioural therapies for phobia involve various forms of exposure to the feared stimulus. The methods used vary and may be afforded differing degrees of importance, depending upon the views and approach of individual clinicians.

Imaginal approach is a form of unreal exposure in which the sufferer is asked to imagine encounters with the phobic subject. The imagined situations are manipulated in various ways by the therapist in order to help reduce fear. Imaginal exposure may be used in conjunction with real, in vivo exposure.
