Bufonophobia - Fear of toads
Bufonophobia is an strange fear in some children as well as sometimes in adults. The people suffering from Bufonophobia have fear from toads. They think that the toad will become big and eat them. As the suffering person sees a toad, he or she starts feeling butterflies in stomach and he becomes anxious. It can occur in any age although the onset in generally in early childhood.
The symptoms of Bufonophobia like other kind of phobias includes anxiety, restlessness, shortness of breathing, heavy breathing, sweating, nervousness, etc. Awareness, reassurance and confidence of the sufferer is necessary in curing Bufonophobia.
