Ecophobia- Fear of home.
Eicophobia- Fear of home surroundings.(Domatophobia, Oikophobia)
Treatment of Ecophobia
Breathing ensures that a good supply of oxygen enters the blood and tissues and that there is efficient elimination of carbon dioxide. Efficient breathing using the diaphragm helps to lower blood pressure and directly relieves anxiety, tension and stress.
Other breathing exercises may take various forms, often concentrating on slow, regular controlled breathing, perhaps in time with counting, to help counteract the tendency to hyperventilate in situations of anxiety or panic.
